Super 8 by Wyndham Grayling

“The staff at this hotel was so generous and gave us a small gift for our anniversary! The rooms were clean, and we had a great view of the woods behind the hotel. Despite there being a lot of cars in the lot, we never had any noise issues from neighbors, and the staff was very friendly!”

“First time staying at Super 8 in many years, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean & well stocked. The swimming pool & sauna were sparkling & the breakfast offered more than I expected. The price however was not what it used to be, it wasn't a budget price.”

“Brought the family here for memorial weekend. The pool and hot tub were both very refreshing. The kids loved playing in the pool. Breakfast could use some upgrades but the kids still found stuff to eat. Rooms were clean and roomy. There was a misunderstanding about our reservation. We have a special needs son who has a hard time with stairs. The clerk immediately fixed it so that we had a bottom floor room for him. I appreciate that he went out of his way to help our situation. We will definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel was perfect for what we were looking for. We were visiting a family member in Grayling Hospital. Super 8 was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pictures on the wall were updated and had great nature shots. The colors of the carpeting were a little outdated, but we were happy for the price, cleanliness and great customer service. Other families were happy, because there was an indoor pool, and kiddos were having fun.”

“We stopped here for one night on our way to Traverse City. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. She was new so it took her a little longer but was still efficient. Common area was nice and clean. Room was large and laced out well. Very clean, no carpet and nice decor. Morning breakfast was minimal. A few items for the toaster, cereal with only one kind of milk in a gallon jug. There was also some fruit and oatmeal. The biggest negative is that there is no elevator. If you can’t climb stairs make sure you ask for a room on the first floor.”

“We went to the one in Houghton lake first and were very disappointed when we got there to find that the pool was shut down. We came to this one instead and it was 100% better. Nicer rooms and service. The pool and hot tub were great. My only issue was the shower. The curtain didn't go in the shower so the floor got really wet and I had to clean it up. Besides that there was no issues. The girls at the counter were really nice! We will definitely come back to this location. The beds are also very comfortable.”
